Hi!!

My name is Sophia (Soph, Sopher, Phe Phe, really whatever you like).

I am passionate about traveling, helping others, and finding happiness.

First and foremost, I want to say welcome to my site. This is a safe place to talk about anything really, so always feel like you can reach out to me through my socials.

My Story:

I am 19 years old (almost 20!!) and grew up in a small town outside of Raleigh, North Carolina, but recently moved to Houston, Texas. So far I have spent 1 year at Baylor University. Now I am living abroad in the south of Spain with some family. I plan to return to Baylor in the fall, but who knows what will actually happen.

In my free time I teach efoiling lessons (I will post about this sometime,, they are so so fun!). I also love to try random little hobbies like painting, crocheting, drawing, or anything creative even if I am not good. It helps with my mental health, usually.

I have struggled with mental health for a while now, and am tired of just surviving or existing day to day. I want to live! To feel alive! or as David Thoreau said “I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life”. I aspire to travel and I have big plans with my life. I just have to see them through.

Why I Want To Help:

I want to inspire others to find joy in living. Also, because the world is so big and we are so small, so we better make this life count (I know how cheesy that sounds, but it is true). I feel deeply the struggles with mental health and I do not want that to hold me or anyone back.

My Purpose For This:

The goal of this is to track my progress, while also helping/ encouraging others to find the meaning to this life filled world.

Things I will be writing about:

everything.

I wanted to make a travel blog, but why limit myself to that. I will be writing about the things I find joy in and things that put me out of my comfort zone.
